An immersive experience blending history and innovation

My thesis focused on Pianspessa, a vast and constantly evolving area nestled among the hills of Monte Generoso (Ticino). With its unique historical and landscape characteristics, more than a mere collection of structures, it's an ancient dwelling crafted with artistic vision.

To develop the visual communication for this museum, I spent a significant amount of time on-site, fully immersing myself to understand and feel the unique energy of that suspended place. My inspiration stemmed directly from its surrounding nature and the visionary approach of the architect who brought his dream to life in the 1700s.

Thanks to a specially created app and the support of augmented reality (AR) technology, visitors will be able to enjoy a real journey between multiple visible and non-visible dimensions.

  • Experience concept to bringing “fossils back to life”
and adding attractiveness to this museum

My Role

  • Visual prototype to represent the interaction

  • The idea was chosen and developed in reality
